Six Peaks Games is collaborating with Hardball Games on their new title OutRage. As an embedded team we are assisting with co-development, porting and functional QA.
Co-development & Porting
Embedded development team working across a range of responsibilities including:
- Multiplayer using Photon Unity Networking & Quantum.
- Unity services implementations: analytics, remote config
- UI implementation/overhaul working with UI/UX.
- Gameplay/game systems implementations.
- Daily playtesting for studio feedback on gameplay.
- Debugging and bug fixing features.
- Performance profiling and identifying optimizations.
- Task estimations, investigations and prototyping.
- Assisting in the interview process (interviews as well as technical reviews).
3D Art
- Art conceptualization and development for game characters, props and environments.
- Design and modelling with industry standard softwares using Maya and Zbrush.
- Texture and shader developement using Adobe Substance painter and designer.
- Model, texture and shader implementation all setup within Unity.
- 2D and 3D Conceptualization based on project requirements.
Quality Assurance
- Functional QA including smoke test, black box, regression, compliance and more.than
- Detailed bug reporting using Jira and HacknPlan
- Test case creation and completion within TestRail
- Release Candidate review and approvals.
- Autonomous QA process
